Throughout my career, data-driven decision making has always been a part of what I was responsible for doing - I just didn't know it. As the Chief Operations Officer of a nonprofit organization, I informally use data to try and best shape the future of the organization. As a Strategy Consultant, my role is to look at and analyze product trends and prices and use that knowledge to make the most beneficial decision for the organization. Even as a Business Development Director for an Orthopedic practice, I would use Google Sheets to create a scoring system for potential partners and then make decisions on which partners to pursue.

 

The point is, Data Science has been a part of my life long before I even formally knew what it was. As soon as I realized my love for data-driven insights - I obtained an IBM Data Science Professional Certification, and truly began my journey into Data Science.

I have been able to learn various data science skillsets and complete different personal projects to demonstrate my proficiency in the overall data science process. I especially enjoy Data Cleaning, Exploratory Data Analysis, and creating Data Visualizations to help data tell a compelling story. All of these skills can be viewed in the "projects" section of my portfolio, with plenty more to come!
